Grass Fed Bones and miscellaneous cuts
These are the cuts that are related to, or contain Grass Fed Beef bones. Along with a few other products.
|Stew Meat (1" Cubes) (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
These are cubes of beef from our grass-fed steers. They are often used for stewing or braising or kabobs. Each package is about one pound.
|Beef Back Ribs (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
These are from the upper rib section of the steer, below where the strip steaks are cut away, and are fabulous on the grill with sauce.
|Beef Short Ribs (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
These are cut from the lower portion of the animal near the belly. Each package is typically between 1 and 2 pounds. Beef short ribs are often slow cooked for hours.
|Soup (dog) Bones (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
These marrow bones are ideal for soups and long-simmered bone broth, but you may have to compete with your dog for them. They provide fantastic health benefits, no matter who is eating them. Around 2 pounds.
|Soup Shank (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
Beef shank cross cuts are cut from the hindshank or foreshank perpendicular to the bone. They are fairly thick, and are usually prepared by braising. Each package is generally between 1 and 2 pounds. We've discovered that they make a great chili recipe AWESOME! Just put a couple shanks in the bottom of your chili pot and enjoy the rewards.
|Carne Asada (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
These are thin-cut chuck steaks from the front quarter. It is rich in flavor with a good balance of meat and fat. Perfect for grilling with your favorite dry marinate and sliced thin for carne asada tacos! Don't over cook as they are thin.
|Petite Tender (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
A small muscle cut from the shoulder. Not a particularly tender cut, but a delightful treat when marinated overnight and grilled low and slow. Don't over cook as it is small and slice across the grain. Enjoy!
|Ball Tip (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
A small roast from the bottom sirloin. Should be grilled at low temperature and will plump a bit as it cooks. Best served rare or medium rare. We use a dry rub marinate.
|Marrow Bones (Hole-In-One Ranch)|
These are leg bones split lengthwise to expose the whole of the bone marrow. They are most commonly roasted and served as Marrow Canoes (a great brain food!). Although not originally intended for soup or broth - our customers report that their broth is greatly enhanced when they use these bones.
